Aaron Kline was born and raised in Columbia County and has lived here for over 30 years. He served as school board president and fought against school shutdowns. He kept schools open and students learning. Aaron is the only republican candidate that has experience with the school system.
For the last 13 years, Aaron has owned and operated a successful small business that assists local and large businesses and professional sports teams. He will fight for lower taxes, less regulations, fiscal responsibility and government accountability.
Aaron comes from a long line of farmers here in Columbia County. He has raised livestock from a young age and also worked on other local farms from the time he was a teenager. Currently, he and his family raise sheep and produce cherries and hay on their family farm.
Staunchly pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, and pro-small government, Aaron has experienced first-hand the government overreach during the last 2 years. As school board president at Columbia County Christian school, he fought against the shutdowns and pushed to keep schools open. He currently serves on the finance committee of the school overseeing the construction of a million-dollar arts and athletics center.
Aaron is the only candidate running who has school-age children. He and his wife, Margaret, firmly believe that parents should be 100 percent able to make important decisions for their child’s education. Aaron will promote school accountability, school choice and school vouchers in Harrisburg, returning authority to students back to parents and away from bureaucrats. He consistently volunteers at his local church and is a committed Christian who will boldly fight for the preservation of our God-given rights outlined in our Constitution.
Aaron’s education includes a bachelor’s in science and an MBA degree which will be completed this year. His upbringing, community service, business, farming and school leadership experience uniquely position him to understand the needs of the people of Columbia County.
